Kids swimming lessons

No matter your child’s swimming ability, we have a program for them. Our Independent program is ideal for beginners while our Competent program is great for those who have the basics covered and are ready to develop their skills. In the Graduate program, children can advance to become a swimming expert!

Squad swimming lessons

Graduate swimmers have the opportunity to take part in our Squad program. These lessons will introduce your child to the amazing world of competitive swimming. They’ll also get the chance to advance their lifesaving and survival skills, as well as their endurance, technique and fitness.

Fast Track is our fun, intensive swimming program that takes place during the school holidays. Open to all families and class levels from K1 up, Fast Track helps children to strengthen key skills in the water, improve their technique and achieve new milestones – no matter where they're at in their swimming journey.

Meet our People

Jarrod
Centre Manager

Hi, I’m Jarrod. As Centre Manager, I love everything from connecting with our customers to supporting our amazing team.

Kingswim has always been part of my life—my mum and two older sisters worked here, and I’ve been teaching for six years. Helping kids become confident swimmers means they can enjoy the water without fear holding them back.

Outside of work, I stay active playing hockey and going to the gym—and when I’m not doing that, I love nerding out over card games.

Sam
Assistant Centre Manager

Working with kids and helping them develop a love for swimming is an absolute joy. Over my two years with Kingswim, coupled with four years of professional experience with children, I’ve focused on creating supportive environments for every family that walks through our doors.

Water safety is about empowering people to enjoy the beach, pool, or water while staying safe. Outside of work, I love to explore the national parks in my area or escape into a good book.

Michael
Assistant Centre Manager

Hi, I’m Michael. There’s nothing quite like seeing a child smile as they grow more confident and comfortable in the water.

Over the past four years at Kingswim, I’ve taught everyone from tiny three-month-old babies to fully grown adults. My goal is always the same—helping each swimmer understand water safety and develop the skills they need to thrive.

When I’m not in the pool, you’ll find me playing cricket, indoor rock climbing, or relaxing with video games.

Common questions

Find quick answers to things you're curious about and get the clarity you need!

Read the full list of common questions

  • How often should we attend swimming lessons?

We recommend regular weekly lessons. As the old saying goes, practise makes perfect! Children will always benefit more from learning in a regular and continuous way.

  • What do I get when I enrol?

We have a free start up kit that includes a membership card to scan as you arrive at your lesson each week and a free pair of Kingswim branded bathers (swimmer or togs – depending on which part of Australia you’re from)!

  • When can we start lessons?

Anytime! We don’t make families wait until the start of a new school term to commence lessons. As soon as you’re ready to go, we’re ready to welcome you!

  • Do parents have to attend the lessons?

It’s a family affair! As part of our commitment to safety, all parents are required to be in attendance during all learn to swim lessons. We also think it’s great for parents to see first-hand how their child is developing.
