Kids swimming lessons
No matter your child’s swimming ability, we have a program for them. Our Independent program is ideal for beginners while our Competent program is great for those who have the basics covered and are ready to develop their skills. In the Graduate program, children can advance to become a swimming expert!
Squad swimming lessons
Graduate swimmers have the opportunity to take part in our Squad program. These lessons will introduce your child to the amazing world of competitive swimming. They’ll also get the chance to advance their lifesaving and survival skills, as well as their endurance, technique and fitness.

Meet our People
Jarrod
Centre Manager
From communicating with staff to engaging with customers, I love every aspect of my role as Centre Manager. With a family legacy at Kingswim (including my mum and two older sisters) I’ve grown up around the industry and have been teaching for six years.
Teaching kids to become competent swimmers means they can fully enjoy water activities like the beach or waterparks without fear holding them back. Outside of work, I stay active by playing hockey or heading to the gym, and I enjoy nerding out with card games.

Sam
Assistant Centre Manager
Working with kids and helping them develop a love for swimming is an absolute joy. Over my two years with Kingswim, coupled with four years of professional experience with children, I’ve focused on creating supportive environments for every family that walks through our doors.
Water safety is about empowering people to enjoy the beach, pool, or water while staying safe. Outside of work, I love to explore the national parks in my area or escape into a good book.

Michael
Assistant Centre Manager
There’s nothing quite like seeing a child smile as they grow confident and comfortable in the water. Over the last four years with Kingswim, I’ve taught swimmers of all ages, from three-month-old infants to fully grown adults.
My mission is to ensure each swimmer understands the potential dangers of water and develops the skills to stay safe and thrive. Outside of work, I spend my time playing cricket, indoor rock climbing, or unwinding with video games.

-
How often should we attend swimming lessons?
We recommend regular weekly lessons. As the old saying goes, practise makes perfect! Children will always benefit more from learning in a regular and continuous way.
-
What do I get when I enrol?
We have a free start up kit that includes a membership card to scan as you arrive at your lesson each week and a free pair of Kingswim branded bathers (swimmer or togs – depending on which part of Australia you’re from)!

When can we start lessons?
Anytime! We don’t make families wait until the start of a new school term to commence lessons. As soon as you’re ready to go, we’re ready to welcome you!
-
Do parents have to attend the lessons?
It’s a family affair! As part of our commitment to safety, all parents are required to be in attendance during all learn to swim lessons. We also think it’s great for parents to see first-hand how their child is developing.
