With decades of combined experience in the aquatic and recreation industry, our leadership team brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and heart to everything we do at Kingswim. From running our centres to supporting families and developing amazing teams, each member plays a key role in helping kids thrive in and out of the pool.

Rich Quail – General Manager

Whilst I’m the newest member of the Kingswim team, I’ve spent my career in the sport and recreation industry, driven by a passion for helping people develop skills, confidence and a love of being active. I focus on strategic planning and identifying opportunities to bring the life-changing benefits of learning to swim to more communities, ensuring our programs reach those who need them most.

I work closely with our teams to support growth and success across our centres, helping them deliver exceptional experiences for families and children. By looking at the bigger picture, I aim to create opportunities and solutions that make a real difference in the lives of the children and communities we serve.

As a family man with three young children, I know firsthand how vital water safety and confidence in the water are. Every day, I’m inspired by being part of a team that empowers children to feel strong, confident and safe, an experience that is truly rewarding.

Sue Scolaro – Head of Operations

I’ve been part of the Kingswim family for over 20 years, driven by my love of the water sports and the joy that comes from helping kids discover how much fun swimming can be.

My journey began as a swim teacher, sharing that love with children and families. Before joining Kingswim, I worked as a Dive Master, taking people out to swim with dolphins, an incredible experience that really confirmed for me that everyone should feel safe, confident and able to enjoy the water.

Over the years, I’ve worked across almost every area of Kingswim, gaining valuable experience in centre operations, team leadership and customer service.

Now, as Head of Operations, I’m passionate about creating environments where children can grow, achieve and celebrate their milestones because for me, teaching kids to swim isn’t just about lessons in the pool, it’s about giving kids a lifelong skill that really matters and makes life more fun!

Anne Brown – Head of Program and Performance

I’ve been part of the Kingswim family for over 20 years, beginning as a swim teacher before managing a centre and overseeing the operations of multiple sites. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver exceptional programs and support both teachers and swimmers.

Driven by a lifelong passion for water safety, I’ve dedicated my career to developing programs that make a real difference, teaching skills that build confidence and can save lives. I still love getting in the water to teach, as it keeps me connected and gives valuable insight.

In my current role, I lead the training and development of swim teachers across all Kingswim centres and authored our Water Safety Program, which reaches hundreds of preschool children each year. Seeing teachers grow and swimmers thrive is what drives me every day, it’s incredibly rewarding to help create safer, stronger individuals for life

Erin Proctor – Customer Care and Centre Support Manager

I’ve been part of the Kingswim team for over 15 years, starting as a competitive swimmer before teaching swimming for 10 years. As Customer Care Manager, I’m passionate about making every family’s experience with us smooth and enjoyable. I lead a dedicated team who ensure we deliver the very best service, from the first enquiry to a child’s first splash and beyond.

Our goal is simple: to make it easy for families to swim with us. Whether it’s helping with enrolments, answering questions, or finding solutions that fit busy family schedules, we’re here to support every step of the way.

What I love most about my role is knowing that great customer care helps more children access swimming lessons, giving them the opportunity to learn, grow and develop lifelong water confidence.

Alex O’Toole – Training & Development Specialist

As Kingswim’s Training & Development Specialist, I work closely with Anne, our Head of Program and Performance, to bring our online training to life.

I create engaging and interactive learning experiences, using animation and video to help our teams build the knowledge and skills they need. I’m passionate about designing training that is meaningful, accessible and empowering, so every team member feels supported and confident in their role.

With a young family who attend weekly lessons at Kingswim, I understand firsthand how important it is for children to feel safe and capable in the water.

Being part of a team that helps make that possible is something I’m incredibly proud of. And a fun fact, I’m also the voice of Kingswim! You’ll hear me welcoming families on our phone messages every day.

Jane McElligott – Regional Manager

I’ve been part of the Kingswim family for more than 20 years, joining soon after moving from the UK when I spotted an ad for swim teachers at a new centre in my local area. With a lifelong love of swimming and a background in working with children, it felt like the perfect way to begin my new life in Australia, and I’ve never looked back.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to grow with Kingswim, from swim teacher to Centre Manager and now Regional Manager. In my current role, I work closely with our Centre Managers to mentor their development, support their teams, and ensure we deliver the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer experience. Most importantly, I still get to share in the joy of children learning to swim, knowing we’re helping them build a lifelong skill that contributes to both their safety and enjoyment.

Luke Tiberi – Regional Manager

I've been part of the Kingswim team for over 10 years. I joined Kingswim while I was studying at university, looking for casual work and as I had a background of over 12 years of competitive swimming, I thought this would be a great fit.

After my very first day, I knew it was for me and something I wanted to continue to do. Being able to bring joy and pass on a lifesaving skill became a true passion.
Throughout my time here, I've worked across a range of roles: from swim teaching, through to managing one of our wonderful centres. In these roles I have never lost sight of what really matters: giving people a lifelong survival skill.

Now, in my role as Regional Manager I use the skills I have learnt, to pass on my passion and guide our current dedicated team to deliver an excellent program for families to enjoy.

Kelly Poulter – Regional Manager

With over 30 years of experience in the aquatic and recreation industry, I’ve built my career around a genuine love of the water and a passion for helping people feel safe and confident in it.

I started out as a swim teacher and lifeguard, then worked my way through a range of leadership roles before joining Kingswim four years ago. I was part of the team that opened Kingswim Epping and now feel incredibly proud to support our centres as a Regional Manager.

For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing children grow in confidence as they learn to swim. It’s lovely to watch those little moments of progress that mean so much. I also love mentoring and supporting our teams, helping our people grow into strong, capable leaders who inspire others.

I’m passionate about creating positive, high-performing teams and ensuring every family who walks through our doors feels welcome, supported and part of something special.
