Baby swimming lessons
Designed for babies from 12 weeks to three years, our Foundation program is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the water. In these lessons, parents and babies can swim together. Expect a calm atmosphere with lots of fun activities as you both get comfortable in the water.
Kids swimming lessons
No matter your child’s swimming ability, we have a program for them. Our Independent program is ideal for beginners while our Competent program is great for those who have the basics covered and are ready to develop their skills. In the Graduate program, children can advance to become a swimming expert!
Squad swimming lessons
Graduate swimmers have the opportunity to take part in our Squad program. These lessons will introduce your child to the amazing world of competitive swimming. They’ll also get the chance to advance their lifesaving and survival skills, as well as their endurance, technique and fitness.
Holiday swimming program
Fast Track is our intensive swimming program that takes place during the school holidays. Open to all families, the program is designed to help children strengthen key skills in the water, master their technique and achieve new milestones.
Adult swimming lessons
Whether you’re ready to dip your toes into the pool for the first time or want to progress your skills after some time away – you can do it with our adult swimming lessons. We offer basic, intermediate and advanced lessons so you can improve your confidence and technique, whatever your ability.

Meet our people
Liz
Centre Manager
What I love most about my role is sharing the “Wonder of Water” experience with swimmers, from seeing the awe on a baby’s face to helping older children develop life-saving water safety skills. My swimming background started early, and after returning to Australia, I was thrilled to teach at Kingswim starting in 2009.
Hearing stories from families about how these skills have saved lives reinforces how essential this education is.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, movies, travelling, and experiencing the vibrant winery scene on the Mornington Peninsula.

Tammi
Assistant Centre Manager
Watching children progress through every stage of swimming, from baby play to squad level, is truly rewarding. The relationships I build with children and their families make this role special, as we’re teaching a vital life skill that brings joy and confidence to so many lives.
After enrolling my child in swimming lessons, I was inspired to become a teacher myself in 2022, working my way up to Assistant Manager.
Living near the water, I’m deeply passionate about equipping children with the skills to save themselves and others. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets.

Common questions
Find quick answers to things you're curious about and get the clarity you need!
-
How often should we attend swimming lessons?
We recommend regular weekly lessons. As the old saying goes, practise makes perfect! Children will always benefit more from learning in a regular and continuous way.
-
What do I get when I enrol?
We have a free start up kit that includes a membership card to scan as you arrive at your lesson each week and a free pair of Kingswim branded bathers (swimmer or togs – depending on which part of Australia you’re from)!
-
When can we start lessons?
Anytime! We don’t make families wait until the start of a new school term to commence lessons. As soon as you’re ready to go, we’re ready to welcome you!
-
Do parents have to attend the lessons?
It’s a family affair! As part of our commitment to safety, all parents are required to be in attendance during all learn to swim lessons. We also think it’s great for parents to see first-hand how their child is developing.
