Baby swimming lessons
Designed for babies from 12 weeks to three years, our Foundation program is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the water. In these lessons, parents and babies can swim together. Expect a calm atmosphere with lots of fun activities as you both get comfortable in the water.
Kids swimming lessons
No matter your child’s swimming ability, we have a program for them. Our Independent program is ideal for beginners while our Competent program is great for those who have the basics covered and are ready to develop their skills. In the Graduate program, children can advance to become a swimming expert!
Squad swimming lessons
Graduate swimmers have the opportunity to take part in our Squad program. These lessons will introduce your child to the amazing world of competitive swimming. They’ll also get the chance to advance their lifesaving and survival skills, as well as their endurance, technique and fitness.
Holiday swimming program
Fast Track is our fun, intensive swimming program that takes place during the school holidays. Open to all families and class levels from K1 up, Fast Track helps children to strengthen key skills in the water, improve their technique and achieve new milestones – no matter where they're at in their swimming journey.
Adult swimming lessons
Whether you’re ready to dip your toes into the pool for the first time or want to progress your skills after some time away – you can do it with our adult swimming lessons. We offer basic, intermediate and advanced lessons so you can improve your confidence and technique, whatever your ability.
Survival swimming lessons
Every Kingswim program includes vital survival swimming lessons to help your child learn water safety skills and techniques. We also offer a special ‘Survival Week’ and ‘Endurance Week’ tailored to each program and level, so children of all ages can become confident and capable swimmers.

Meet our people
Katie
Centre Manager
Hi, I’m Katie. I’ve been part of the Kingswim family since I was five years old, learning to swim alongside my siblings at our Mornington centre.
I became a swim teacher in 2007 and now lead the team as Centre Manager. It’s incredibly rewarding to help children grow from baby classes into confident, capable swimmers.
Water safety is something I care deeply about—my brother, a national swimmer, once saved three men from drowning, which really showed me how powerful these skills can be.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my fiancé and family, and I’m passionate about health and fitness, training with a bodybuilding coach.

Jayde
Assistant Centre Manager
Hi, I’m Jayde. I started working at Kingswim in 2021, driven by my love of working with children and a desire to teach an essential life skill.
What I love most is how focused we are on helping kids not just learn to swim—but to survive. Our team’s passion and commitment to water safety really inspires me every day.
I’d describe myself as bubbly, determined, and definitely a talker! Outside of work, I love dancing, getting creative with crafts, and spending time with my dog.

Common questions
Find quick answers to things you're curious about and get the clarity you need!
-
How often should we attend swimming lessons?
We recommend regular weekly lessons. As the old saying goes, practise makes perfect! Children will always benefit more from learning in a regular and continuous way.
-
What do I get when I enrol?
We have a free start up kit that includes a membership card to scan as you arrive at your lesson each week and a free pair of Kingswim branded bathers (swimmer or togs – depending on which part of Australia you’re from)!
-
When can we start lessons?
Anytime! We don’t make families wait until the start of a new school term to commence lessons. As soon as you’re ready to go, we’re ready to welcome you!
-
Do parents have to attend the lessons?
It’s a family affair! As part of our commitment to safety, all parents are required to be in attendance during all learn to swim lessons. We also think it’s great for parents to see first-hand how their child is developing.
