Lesson types
Baby swimming lessons
Designed for babies from 12 weeks to three years, our Foundation program is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the water. In these lessons, parents and babies can swim together. Expect a calm atmosphere with lots of fun activities as you both get comfortable in the water.
Kids swimming lessons
No matter your child’s swimming ability, we have a program for them. Our Independent program is ideal for beginners while our Competent program is great for those who have the basics covered and are ready to develop their skills. In the Graduate program, children can advance to become a swimming expert!
Squad swimming lessons
Graduate swimmers have the opportunity to take part in our Squad program. These lessons will introduce your child to the amazing world of competitive swimming. They’ll also get the chance to advance their lifesaving and survival skills, as well as their endurance, technique and fitness.
Adult swimming lessons
Whether you’re ready to dip your toes into the pool for the first time or want to progress your skills after some time away – you can do it with our adult swimming lessons. We offer basic, intermediate and advanced lessons so you can improve your confidence and technique, whatever your ability.
Holiday swimming program
Fast Track is our fun, intensive swimming program that takes place during the school holidays. Open to all families and class levels from K1 up, Fast Track helps children to strengthen key skills in the water, improve their technique and achieve new milestones – no matter where they're at in their swimming journey.
Survival swimming lessons
Every Kingswim program includes vital survival swimming lessons to help your child learn water safety skills and techniques. We also offer a special ‘Survival Week’ and ‘Endurance Week’ tailored to each program and level, so children of all ages can become confident and capable swimmers.
Timetable
We run most classes most days, so whether you're looking on behalf of your child, multiple children, or yourself, we can make it work. If a class is showing as 'waitlist', please give us a call, and we'll find a solution.
You can then trial a live class and if it's right for you, stay and enrol in that class. Explore our timetable below.

Meet our people
Angela
Centre Manager
Hi, I’m Angela. I rejoined Kingswim in June 2026 after being appointed Centre Manager, achieving a career goal I'd been working towards since I started as a swim teacher in 2021. From the beginning, I always aspired to lead a centre, so returning to Kingswim in this role has been incredibly rewarding.
I’d describe myself as enthusiastic, friendly, ambitious and caring. I enjoy creating a welcoming environment where both families and team members feel supported.
What I love most about working at Kingswim is the people. Whether it's supporting our team, building relationships with families, or watching children achieve new skills and milestones throughout their swimming journey, every day brings something rewarding.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our dogs, watching the footy, exploring local markets and getting outdoors whenever I can.
Assistant Centre Manager
Hi, I’m Angela. The best part of my role is seeing children build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a real love for the water.
Since starting as a swim teacher in January 2024, I’ve completed training in Parent & Child classes, supervision, and advanced swimming strokes—all of which have deepened my passion for teaching and water safety.
Having grown up around water, I know firsthand how much joy it brings, and I’m committed to making those experiences safe and enjoyable for every family.
Outside of work, I love running, exploring nature, and catching live music whenever I can.

-
How often should we attend swimming lessons?
We recommend regular weekly lessons. As the old saying goes, practise makes perfect! Children will always benefit more from learning in a regular and continuous way.
-
What do I get when I enrol?
We have a free start up kit that includes a membership card to scan as you arrive at your lesson each week and a free pair of Kingswim branded bathers (swimmer or togs – depending on which part of Australia you’re from)!
-
When can we start lessons?
Anytime! We don’t make families wait until the start of a new school term to commence lessons. As soon as you’re ready to go, we’re ready to welcome you!
-
Do parents have to attend the lessons?
It’s a family affair! As part of our commitment to safety, all parents are required to be in attendance during all learn to swim lessons. We also think it’s great for parents to see first-hand how their child is developing.
