Welcome to Kingswim! We're here to help you or your child learn to swim.

On this page, you'll find an overview of our lesson levels along with our current class schedule. If you're new to Kingswim, we recommend booking a free introductory lesson. It's a perfect way to meet our team, experience a class, and ask any questions you might have.

Lesson types

Baby swimming lessons

Designed for babies from 12 weeks to three years, our Foundation program is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the water. In these lessons, parents and babies can swim together. Expect a calm atmosphere with lots of fun activities as you both get comfortable in the water.

Kids swimming lessons

No matter your child’s swimming ability, we have a program for them. Our Independent program is ideal for beginners while our Competent program is great for those who have the basics covered and are ready to develop their skills. In the Graduate program, children can advance to become a swimming expert!

Squad swimming lessons

Graduate swimmers have the opportunity to take part in our Squad program. These lessons will introduce your child to the amazing world of competitive swimming. They’ll also get the chance to advance their lifesaving and survival skills, as well as their endurance, technique and fitness.

Holiday swimming program

Fast Track is our fun, intensive swimming program that takes place during the school holidays. Open to all families and class levels from K1 up, Fast Track helps children to strengthen key skills in the water, improve their technique and achieve new milestones – no matter where they're at in their swimming journey.

Survival swimming lessons

Every Kingswim program includes vital survival swimming lessons to help your child learn water safety skills and techniques. We also offer a special ‘Survival Week’ and ‘Endurance Week’ tailored to each program and level, so children of all ages can become confident and capable swimmers.

Timetable

We run most classes most days, so whether you're looking on behalf of your child, multiple children, or yourself, we can make it work. If a class is showing as 'waitlist', please give us a call, and we'll find a solution.

You can then trial a live class and if it's right for you, stay and enrol in that class. Explore our timetable below.

Meet our people

Helen
Centre Manager

Hi, I’m Helen. I’ve been part of Kingswim for 19 years, and I still love seeing the moment a child’s confidence clicks—especially when they get to ring the celebration bell to celebrate a big achievement.

Over the years, I’ve worked across reception, teaching, and now centre management, and my focus has always been the same: helping children feel safe, supported, and proud of what they can do in the water. At Kingswim, we’re passionate about teaching water safety in a way that’s fun, consistent, and gives families confidence too.

Outside the pool, I love staying active through bushwalking and regular exercise. I also make time to unwind with a good book or by sharing a meal with family and friends.

Emerysyn
Assistant Centre Manager

Hi, I’m Emersyn. I joined Kingswim in May 2023 after spending more than four years in hospitality and looking for something new. Stepping into swimming teaching was a completely different challenge for me, and one that I was excited to take on.

I’d describe myself as enthusiastic, hardworking and creative. I enjoy bringing energy into each lesson and finding ways to help every swimmer feel supported as they learn.

What I love most about working at Kingswim is seeing children achieve a skill they have been working towards. That moment when their face lights up is incredibly rewarding and knowing you helped them move forward in their swimming journey makes it even more special.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the movies and playing indoor soccer.

Read the full list of common questions

  • How often should we attend swimming lessons?

We recommend regular weekly lessons. As the old saying goes, practise makes perfect! Children will always benefit more from learning in a regular and continuous way.

  • What do I get when I enrol?

We have a free start up kit that includes a membership card to scan as you arrive at your lesson each week and a free pair of Kingswim branded bathers (swimmer or togs – depending on which part of Australia you’re from)!

  • When can we start lessons?

Anytime! We don’t make families wait until the start of a new school term to commence lessons. As soon as you’re ready to go, we’re ready to welcome you!

  • Do parents have to attend the lessons?

It’s a family affair! As part of our commitment to safety, all parents are required to be in attendance during all learn to swim lessons. We also think it’s great for parents to see first-hand how their child is developing.
